Jan 2023 – First Steps

First working version.

This is the main view of the garden.

• On the left is “The Shed” (later the shed will be where you go to manage your garden, ie choose new plants, adjust settings, redeem tokens etc
• The garden, and the first plant

The view can be panned left and right to see the rest of the garden (which is empty at the moment).

When we want to do our bible reading, we tap on the plant, this open the reading page, this first plant is the “McCheyne Bible in a year” reading plan, and it has several reading for each day.

We can tap on each reading to open a web browser embedded in the app, which will load the reading from Bible Gateway

Once I’ve read the reading, I tap “Mark Done” and the app records that I have finished that reading.

Back on the previous screen, when I have read all four readings, I tap “Mark Complete” and the app records that I have completed the day’s readings   and my plant (the tree) grows a little bit. Since this is a whole year reading plan, it is  going to take the whole year to grow the finished tree.
